Plot & Summary
A movie that’s a biopic of a legend “Anand Kumar” needed someone special to play the role. The “Super 30” institute has been named the best training institute by Barrack Obama. And to play the character the Director & ‘Anand Kumar’, met multiple people. But in the words of the man himself, Hrithik Roshan was chosen as he was the most committed. And we all have known the versatility in his acting and absolute commitment. So much so that Hrithik dedicated a year for the movie.
The movie shows Anand Kumar as an ace student who achieves Gold Medal. When he tries pursuing his dreams of getting into best University in the world, financial troubles stop him. When all hells break down, Anand is seen doing pretty jobs for livelihood sacrificing his dreams. He meets a person running a training institute that caters to rich. After a period, he realizes that his coaching helps the rich kids who become richer. Whereas some of the most intelligent & deserving students are left to fight out the life to earn daily livelihood.
Hrithik does a very good job as a Bihari and his dialog deliveries are good. Though one might find it a little off from the original voice of Anand Kumar. Again, it isn’t possible to play a ditto personality. What follows post what I shared is Anand effort to setup his own training, battling all odds, politics, lack of money and teach the needy for free. The kids who have been part of the movie have also done great job.
The script is pretty good and keeps the audience are engaged all along. But there are also these odd scenes that are hard to comprehend and created to make it dramatic. Other character actors played by Rajendra Kumar as Anand’s father, Aditya Srivastav as Lallan & Pankaj Tripathi as politician are good.
Though the movie covers many aspects but still we as audience want to know more. There are some scenes that look a little too dramatic and could have been avoided or shown a little differently. Many unanswered questions are another downfall of the movie.
The movie does not show about how Anand Kumar earns money to support the children. Director has tried to only show only the struggles.
A good portrayal of an inspiring person, Ananad Kumar. Hrithik Roshan has done a brilliant job and looks convincing in the role. The support cast have also done an amazing in the movie. A little bit of detailed could have made this most to be one of the best. But still I would encourage everyone to go watch the movie. The movie makes all of us think that anything can be achieved, just that one needs to commit.
