Plot & Summary
Saaho is one of the latest Action & Thrill movies starting the superstar Prabhas. After the huge success of Bahubali Series, there was a lot of expectation on Prabhas next movie. Saaho, an action movie directed by a newcomers Sujeeth made everyone after seeing the first trailer. The team did a lot of groundwork to promote the movie by letting the stars travel across the country & internally to talk about the movie.
The movie starts off with a scene showing the Narantank Roy (role played by Jackie Shroff) trying to take control in India. When things look rosy, Narantank is killed and this creates shockwaves in Waaji underworld city. Others part of the consortium at Waaji eye on the iron throne. But they are surprised to the successor as Roy son, Vishwank (role played by Arun Vijay) take the reins. But his two main movies are to retrieve one of the lost gold and find his father’s assassins. In parallel, there is another smart robbery event shown in Mumbai and the police are keen to find out the criminal. They bring in an undercover cop, Ashok Chakravarthy (role played by Prabhas). He assembles a team that includes Amritha Nair (role played by Shraddha Kapoor). Things get a little confusing from now as the we see cops chasing the robber (role played by Neil Nitin), who in turn is after a black box. The black box open up a huge safe and Kalki (role played by Mandira Bedi) comes to take it back to Waaji City. There are many things that happens in the movie that can confuse anyone. But similar to all action movies, as the plot gets thicker, more character are introducing, it become tough. If one watches the movie, its known that every scene has been put with a lot of purpose.
We see that Devraj (role played by Chunky Pandy) & Prince (role played by Mahesh Majrekar) are also after Black Box. Their intent is to get control of the Waaji City underworld empires. The next part of the movie intrigues audience, when they revel that Prabhas is not a cop but Saaho. I don’t want to spill the beans about his connection to Roy family, Waaji city. Its best watching it in theatres.
Important Aspects
In this section, I wanted to highlight few good things about the movies.
Acting – This movie has a great star-cast that starts from the superhero, Prabhas. He able to pull off a role that requires him to show his Acting, Action, Emotions, all in one. With the advantage of height, personality, Prabhas pulls off an amazing performance.
Shraddha as an actress has supported Prabhas well with her acting and on-screen chemistry with Prabhas. Other actors like Jackie, Chunky, Arun & Mandira Bedi have done very good job in their limited screen time.
Action Sequences – The movie has some of the best Action sequences that Indian cinemas has seen until now. I came to know that 5-6 sequences were directed by International stunt master across the globe. Some of the action sequences have taken 2-3 months to complete. And one of the action stunts costed 50-60 crores to get it perfectly right. Its very clear that every Action sequence in the movie looks convincing.
VFX Effects – Visual effects of the movies are very similar to any Hollywood movie. Its good to see an Indian movie investing big into a movie. The car-chase, truck chases, cop’s vehicle, copter scenes all look pretty good. There are 1-2 unreal scenes that could have been avoided, like the one where Prabhas falls off the cliff to retrieve his bag with parachute. Otherwise, most of the scenes, they have done thorough justice.
Screenplay – This is one of the aspects where we get to know what every scene will contains like characters, dialogues, location. The script writer has tried to put too many scenes with many characters. At times it does confuse audience and I feel that they could have done a better job. But inspite of that one does not get bored in any of the scenes as there is something interesting happening every time.
Runtime – The movie actually run for nearly 3hrs and wants to show many things to audience. May be the timeline could have been cut short by 5-10mts.
Songs
The movie has 4 songs and every one of the them is just amazing. Locations, music and singer for every song is amazing. I wonder how the movie makers end up choosing such exotic locations. The songs have been sung some sensational singer sand are already chartbusters.

Conclusion
This is undoubtedly the Best Action movie that Indian has seen until now. Kudos to director & producer for this movie. Its great to see an amazing movie starring out super-star Prabhas. Every actor in this movie has put in a lot of effort to get things right. This is one of the grandeur movies that give the audience money worth completely.
Its also nice to see a Multi-lingual movie rather than rather to wait for remake. Though it means that actor must put an effort shoot the scene 2-3 times, it’s the trend these days. I watched both Telugu & Hindi and found the movie to be good every time. It was a great to watch second time as I could appreciate every scene.
I am sure this movie will break records and become a superhit.
