Plot & Summary

The most awaited Action Movie in Bollywood – WAR released on 2-Oct’19.  Movie star two of the most desirable actors in Bollywood – Hrithik Roshan & Tiger Shroff.   Fans were waiting to see both the stars share the screen-space and its eventually happened under Yash Raj Production banner.

A high-octane movie with two ‘Action Heroes’ who fit the bill perfectly well.  Kabir (role played by Hrithik), best agent part of the Indian Special task force goes rogue when he kills his own subordinate.  Colonel Luthra (role played by Ashutosh Rana), heading the special task force, plans on bringing down Kabir.  To do the task, he assigns the task to someone but the best officer available, Khalid (role played by Tiger Shroff).  The reason being Khalid is prodigy of Kabir and department feel that he might be incapable of finishing off when he faces him.  But this does not stop Khalid from using his own methods to find out Kabir.  They also show how the bond between Kabir & Khalid is build.  They dwell a little into the past of Khalid, whose father was also in special task force with Kabir.  Khalid father is killed by Kabir when the department find out that he is found cheating and Kabir kills him.  Khalid sets out clear his fathers’ image by being sincere at his job.  The rest of movie is about Khalid chase for Kabir and know the truth behind why he goes rogue.

Both the heroes are perfect for their roles.  We also see Hrithik is a totally different look and he just looks quite cool in the stubble look.  Director has tried to give equal screen-time to both the heroes.  Hrithik is such an awesome actor with a great persona that he can make any girl go weak.  If there is someone to compete him in the same league, it would be Tiger Shroff.  They both have physique that can make anyone feel like hitting the gym.

Some of the chase sequences on the bike, running, car, looks just amazing. The he has been shot in some exotic location making the chase scenes good to watch.  I specially loved the scenes where both he stars are on the sports cars, chasing on snow.  It’s a visual spectacle to watch when the snow throws up in the air.  Picturization is just awesome.

Songs 

There are just 2 songs in the movie but both are quite good.  The main reason for that is the presence of two amazing dancers in Hrithik & Tiger.   ‘Jai Jai Shivshankar’ is say whos thosethan the other one as we get to see both dancers share the screen.  Its hard to spot the better dancer but personally I liked Hrithik as he has more flair.

It’s good to see that Indian Film Industry is getting evolved and make such awesome action movies.  There are bits and pieces from English movies like Mission Impossible, Face Off that makes the movie an interesting watch.  All the leads actors have done good job including Hrithik, Tiger & Ashutosh.  The only problem in the movie would be the screenplay and weak storyline.  There are too many scenes that just comes up suddenly that can surprise anyone.  But certainly, the movie is very entertaining and gives a good value for money.

Just a spoiler that we got at the end that clearly says that this movie might have a 2^nd part.  I am sure it all depends on how the movie fairs in the box-office.
